Teenage dudes be like: "My brother's sixteen and living with him is tough. He really takes the biscuit. His hormones seem to give him a permanent aggression level of 100, which is reserved for everyone.  Don't wear his clothes, don't touch his clothes, don't look at his clothes, don't look at him, don't ask a question and never get the same clothes!"

That's why we make items that can be personalized to such a degree, no one can ever have exactly the same. That solves at least one of those issues. But I guess My Chemical Romance say it best in the song Teenagers:  

They said, "All teenagers scare the livin' shit out of me"
They could care less as long as someone'll bleed
So, darken your clothes, or strike a violent pose
Maybe they'll leave you alone, but not me
